Craze Looks: Jailbird

When I first began thrifting, I struggled with finding a way to bring my new thrift pieces up-to-date. It takes a bit of time to learn how to make thrift work with what’s already in your closet and modern items you may purchase. We figured that some of our customers may be having this same problem so we wanted to give you all some ideas.
I created three looks for Jailbird. The first look makes use of the color blocking trend that is still going strong in fashion. The black and tan vertical stripes of Jailbird paired with a coral blazer, navy blue skirt, and super cute yellow flats will surely make you stand out at work while remaining professional. The look is finished off with a stack of simple gold bangles and gold knot earrings.
The second look is great for a day of shopping or running weekend errands. Winter has finally arrived so this pair of green corduroys will keep you warm. Instead of a standard black blazer for a second layer, this blazer is tuxedo inspired and features satin lapels. A pair of black knee high boots are a wardrobe staple in every girl’s closet. Pull yours out and wear with this outfit. A couple of simple black and gold accessories pull the look together.
Let’s say you met a cute guy a few days ago and you’re finally ready to let him take you out on a date. Us girls are known to obsess over finding an outfit that is cute, flirty, and maybe even subtly sexy without giving a guy the wrong idea. The third look is sure to meet all of your requirements. This high waist tulip skirt is in a great color that communicates energy and warmth to your new boy toy. The tan leather jacket keeps the look casual and fun. A pair of peep toe booties with a four inch heel will make you legs look amazing. I absolutely love these bright resin stone earrings. They are the perfect final touch.
